2023 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Summit

Deputy Premier and Minister of Home Affairs, the Hon. Walter H. Roban, JP, MP attended the 2023 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Summit which was held in New York from 18-19 September 2023. Heads of State and Government met at the United Nations Headquarters in New York to review the implementation of the 2030 agenda for Sustainable Development and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) which was convened under the auspices of the President of the United Nation's General Assembly, during the UN's high-level week. This is the second SDG Summit since the adoption of the 2030 Agenda in September 2015. 145 Heads of State and Government, Ministers, as well as representatives of the intergovernmental organizations, the UN system and the stakeholders delivered statements in the SDG Summit.
