A transformative milestone in our shared mission to protect and sustainably manage the marine environments of the UK Overseas Territories.

This achievement reflects a decade of visionary collaboration and leadership, and we are deeply grateful for the vital role that Bermuda has played in this global success story as a part of the Blue Belt Ocean Shield and Global Ocean Wildlife Analysis Network sub-programmes. Together, we have safeguarded approximately 4 million square kilometres of ocean, protected globally significant biodiversity, strengthened climate resilience, improved fisheries management and positioned the UK and UK Overseas Territories as international champions of ocean conservation.
