Caribbean Tourism Organisation, Ministers' Meeting

The Hon Owen K Darrell, JP MP, Minister of Tourism & Transport, Culture & Sport attended a meeting of the Council of Ministers and Commissioners of Tourism, held in Miami, Florida. The Minister was accompanied by his Permanent Secretary, Shivon Washington. Minister Darrell's presence was particularly required, as it included the formal presentation, invitation, and announcement that Bermuda will host the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) Spring Meetings and Industry Forum from 22–25 February 2026. This launch marks a milestone, as it will be the first time Bermuda hosts a CTO event.
