Caribbean Tourism Organization Council of Ministers

The Hon Owen K Darrell, JP MP, Minister of Tourism & Transport, Culture & Sport attended the Meeting of the Council of Ministers and Commissioners of Tourism held by the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) in Bridgetown, Barbados. The Minister was accompanied by Permanent Secretary Shivon Washington. The Minister's meeting covers topics such as strategy, data collection and regional resiliency in the tourism industry. There was a presentation by the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) as well as discussions on airlift and cruise business growth and sustainability. The CTO provides valuable networking opportunities with a focus on tourism products and trends.
