Consensus 2019

The Minister accompanied the Premier of Bermuda, who led a group of regulatory and industry representatives to Consensus 2019, a major conference held in New York. This event attracted over four thousand, five hundred attendees, and included major sponsoring companies, fintech experts, and global law firms. The Minister, along with the Premier of Bermuda, participated in business development meetings and media interviews. As well, the Minister held a series of meetings outside the conference with institutional investors, funds and private equity managers, fintech incubators, influencers and investors in technology and digital assets businesses. The meetings were fruitful and provided valuable insights to be used as Bermuda continues to improve its service offering in the evolving wealth management arena.
