Official Visit to the New York Recovery and Resilience Leadership Forum at the New York Stock Exchange

The Premier of Bermuda made an official visit to New York City to participate in the Recovery & Resilience Leadership Forum at the New York Stock Exchange. The forum was hosted by RenaissanceRe, one of Bermuda’s larger home-grown insurance and reinsurance companies. Upon arrival the Premier met with the editorial writers of Bloomberg News and the Wall Street Journal to outline the many ways in which Bermuda acts as an economic centre of activity for the global community. The Premier also had an opportunity to meet with Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg who expressed his continued support for Bermuda. Following the Leadership Forum, the Premier joined representatives from RenRe on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange for the closing bell and additional media interviews. The Premier was accompanied on this trip by Special Aide to the Premier, Miss. Jannell Ford.
