Wings Gala, Airline Executive Networking

The Hon Owen K Darrell, JP MP, Minister of Tourism & Transport, Culture and Sport was invited to attend the Wings Gala held in New York on Friday, 17th October 2025. The Minister was accompanied by the Director of Sport and Recreation. The Wings Gala provided an opportunity for Minister Darrell to meet with leading executives of the global airline industry and to honor Sir. Tim Clarke, President of Emirates Airlines. During the evening, Minister Darrell discussed the viability of Bermuda as a premium destination and spoke with many airline executives about the desire to launch new destination cities in the future.
