2019 Season Lifeguard Service Ends

As a reminder, the Ministry of Public Works advises that effective 5:00 pm today, the Department of Parks 2019 Season Lifeguard Service has ended.

The park ranger service will continue patrolling south shore parks, however, there will be no stationary presence.

All persons using public beaches and entering the water are urged to adhere to all posted signs and use the utmost care and caution.

The 2020 Season Lifeguard Service is anticipated to resume in April.

The Ministry extends its thanks and appreciation to the Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service, Bermuda Hospitals Board, Bermuda Maritime Operations and the Bermuda Police Service for their support.
