Acting Principal Appointed to Clearwater Middle School | Government of

Mrs. Lisa Swan will be appointed as the Acting Principal of Clearwater Middle School effective 1 January, 2020. Mrs. Swan will replace Principal Garita Coddington who will retire at the end of the 2019/20 school term.

Mrs. Swan holds a Masters and Educational Specialist degree in School Psychology and a Certification in School Administration. She also holds qualifications as a Special Education teacher.

Mrs. Swan has worked as a Special Education teacher, School Psychologist and Assistant Principal in the United States.

In 2014 she returned to Bermuda to take on the position of Deputy Principal at Francis Patton Primary School.

In 2015 Mrs. Swan was appointed as the Principal of Heron Bay Primary School and in 2017 was appointed to the post of Assistant Director of Student Services for the Department of Education.

All key stakeholders were informed of Mrs. Swan’s acting appointment yesterday, 3 December.
