Canadian Consul General in courtesy talks with Government

Government officials last week hosted the Canadian Consul General to New York, Phyllis Yaffe, who completed a round of courtesy talks and acquainted herself with Bermuda.

The Consul General’s area of responsibility includes the U.S. states of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Delaware as well as Bermuda.

Premier and Minister of Finance the Hon. David Burt JP MP met with her at the Cabinet Office and the Deputy Premier and Minister of Transport the Hon. Walter Roban JP MP met with her separately at the Ministry of Transport Headquarters at TCD.

She was joined in the meetings by senior officials from the Consulate General of Canada in New York, including Canadian Consul and head of Investment Nathalie Niedoba, and Head of Advocacy and Communications Juan-Pablo Valdes.
