Convening of the Legislature Advisory

The public is advised that the Convening of the Legislature will take place tomorrow (Nov. 8), on the Cabinet Office Grounds. 

On Friday, Her Excellency the Governor, Rena Lalgie will set out the Government’s Legislative Agenda for the upcoming year. 

The formal proceedings get underway at 10.30 a.m. and will see Members of the House and Senate, Judiciary, Public Service Executive, and other invited guests gather on the Cabinet Lawn to hear the legislative pledges contained in the Speech from the Throne. 

The public is encouraged to tune in at 10.15 am, to the Government’s FaceBook page and YouTube channel to watch live full coverage of the ceremony.
