Cup Match Holiday Garbage Collection Advisory

The Ministry of Public Works is advising that due to the Cup Match holiday, household waste that would normally be collected on Thursday, 3rd August and Friday, 4th August, will instead be collected on Saturday, 5th August. 

Household waste, recycling and bulky items may also be taken to the Tynes Bay Public Drop-Off, which will be open from 9 a.m. to 12 noon on Thursday, 3rd August, and Friday, 4th August.

Additionally, the facility will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, 5th August and from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday, 6th August.
