Dellwood Middle School Water System Update

The Department of Education is advising that Dellwood Middle School students were dismissed at 1:15 pm today, 20 May, due to no running water at the school. The cause of the water stoppage was due to a broken water line.

Plumbers were called to the site to make the necessary repairs, and the water pump system was restored to full operational status at 1:35 pm.

To prevent issues such as this from reoccurring, the Buildings Section within the Ministry of Public Works has repaired the two defective water pumps and will be utilizing water from the school’s water tanks moving forward.

School will resume tomorrow as per the regular school schedule.
