DPT Notice: Update on Temporary Bus Schedule

The Department of Public Transportation (DPT) advises passengers that all bus public routes will continue to operate next week on an expanded Sunday schedule. 

A spokesperson for the Department of Transportation said, “We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the continuation of this reduced bus service. After reviewing the staffing levels for next week, we have determined that the current schedule will remain in place next week. The public can expect an update on Friday, 27 Januaryon when the full service will resume.  For schedule information, visit gov.bm/bus or call 292-3851.

 “As a community, each of us has a role to play in stopping the spread of the coronavirus. Please continue to follow the health guidelines – this includes wearing a mask, hand sanitizing and maintaining the appropriate physical distancing; if you haven’t done so already, speak to your doctor regarding the COVID-19 Vaccine.”
