Extraordinary Municipal Election – Corporation of Hamilton

Nomination Day for the extraordinary municipal election to fill the position of Residents’ Councillor for the Corporation of Hamilton was held today, Tuesday, 30 December 2025.

At the close of nominations, the election was declared uncontested, and Maxanne Javita Caines was duly declared elected to the position of Residents’ Councillor.

In accordance with the Parliamentary Election Act 1978, as read with the Municipalities (Election) Order 2015, no poll will be required.
