Government House Press Release - King's Birthday Reception

On Thursday 13 June 2024 Her Excellency the Governor will host a reception celebrating His Majesty the King’s Birthday at her temporary residence between 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm.

Applications for the ballot to attend must be made between noon on Wednesday 27 March 2024 and noon on Wednesday 17 April 2024.

The Governor said: “We are once again inviting members of the public to apply to the ballot for an invitation to attend this year’s King’s Birthday Reception. In 2023 we had a fantastic response with 200 members of the public joining us to celebrate the 75th birthday of His Majesty the King as well as Their Majesties’ Coronation.

However, sadly due to the move from Government House to a temporary residence, we are more limited in numbers than in previous years. Nevertheless, we look forward to welcoming as many members of the public as we can to this year’s King’s Birthday Reception.”
