Harbour Road Repairs Statement from Acting Minister for Public Works W

The Ministry of Public works is pleased to advise that work will resume tomorrow to complete the structural repairs to the section of Harbour Road, between Lover’s Lane and Highwood Lane. Agreements have been finalised with the area resident this week, allowing for the work to get underway.

Acting Minister for Public Works Wayne Furbert added, “I really want to thank the motoring public for their patience and understanding while the necessary talks with an area resident were completed.

“Having visited the road junctions myself to get a sense for how the public have been impacted, I am pleased that the final phase of this project is nearing its completion.”

The Ministry advises that there will continue to be a single lane of traffic for the duration of the work, with a focus to have the project completed by the end of January 2022.
