Calls into Emergency (911):

  • Eight reports of damage to homes in the western end of the island
  • A report of a propane gas leak at Caesar’s Pharmacy – Main Road, Somerset
  • A report of a car stuck in the area of Stokes Point Road, St. George’s
  • A report of a road blockage west of the Port Royal Fire Station
  • A report of a boat in distress was made, however Harbour Radio has reported that the single occupant onboard is safe, on land, and uninjured

BELCO: As of 9:30 PM, BELCO has reported 27,985 customer power outages across the island. For a full list of outages, please visit www.belco.bm.

The public should note that hurricane updates will be broadcast live on 100.1 FM:

  • At quarter past each hour, The Bermuda Weather Service will provide updates
  • At quarter to each hour, BELCO will provide updates
  • On the hour and every half hour, general updates will be provided

The public is reminded to stay indoors while the hurricane persists.
