Islandwide Garbage Collection Schedule Adjustments for Cup Match Holiday Period

The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform the public of changes to the household waste collection schedule in observance of the Cup Match holiday on Thursday, 1 August and Friday, 2 August 2024.

Household waste, normally collected on Thursday and Friday, will be collected on Saturday, 3 August.

Additionally, residents may take household waste, recycling, and bulky items to the Tynes Bay Public Drop-Off, which will be open from 9 a.m. to 12 noon on Thursday, 1 August, and Friday, 2 August.

Please note that next week is not a recycling collection week.
