Lane Closure For Asphalt Paving Works | Government of Bermuda

The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform motorists that there will be lane closures on Middle Road, Devonshire, from Fort Hill Road to Watlington Lane or thereabouts, for the asphalt paving works on the roadway from 4th March 2020 until 24th April 2020.

The lane closures will occur as necessary on Middle Road. Work will take place from 7:30 am until 6.00 pm to accommodate this maintenance scheme. During the morning rush hour commute, there will be one-way traffic only inbound to City limits. Outbound traffic from the City limits should use alternate routes.

Traffic controls will be under the direction of the Ministry of Public Works’ Highways Department representatives.

Motorists are encouraged to avoid this section of road works, and use alternative routes if possible.

The Ministry of Public Works wishes to encourage the full cooperation of the motoring public and apologizes for any delays and inconvenience that may result.
