Men's National Football Team Returns Home

On Monday evening, Premier the Hon. David Burt, JP, MP and the Minister of Labour, Community Affairs and Sports the Hon. Lovitta Foggo, JP, MP greeted members of the Bermuda Men's National Football Team at the L.F. Wade International Airport, following their historic win against the Dominican Republic at the weekend that saw their name included in the Gold Cup 2019.

They were joined by a large crowd of family members, friends and supporters.

“On behalf of the Government and the people of Bermuda, I want to extend to them our sincere thanks and congratulations," said Premier Burt.

Minister Foggo added that she was "extremely proud" of the footballers. "They performed incredibly well, served Bermuda well and they have what it takes to carry us through," she said. "I want to encourage our entire community to join me in commending our national team for a job well done.”
