Minister of Housing and Municipalities Zane DeSilva welcomed Cabinet colleagues to view the Ministry's modular homes and receive an update on the Government's affordable housing programme.

The modular homes will expand Bermuda's emergency housing capacity while work continues toward their installation at Boaz Island. At the same time, the Government is advancing major housing projects, including 194 precast homes and more than 40 residential units at Channel House, with construction expected to begin this year and occupancy anticipated in 2027.

These initiatives reflect the Government's ongoing commitment to increasing the supply of safe, quality, and affordable housing for Bermudians.
