Premier condolences Dennis Wainwright MBE

Today, the Premier, the Hon. David Burt, JP, MP, joined members of the community in saluting and reflecting on the legacy of the late Dennis Wainwright MBE, calling him “a sporting giant and an man of unrivaled character on an off the field”.

Known for his prowess as a cricketer and footballer, the Premier said, “Mr. Wainwright's flair and zest for the game shone through his entire sporting career. He was model of sportsmanship and lived a full, fit and incredible life. On behalf of the Government and people of Bermuda, I extend condolences to his wife, children and the entire family.”
