“It is with deep sadness and a keen sense of empathy that I extend heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Damian Simmons, whose life was tragically lost in a road traffic accident.

“Losing a loved one in such sudden circumstances is a heavy and traumatic burden, and one that I personally understand.

“To those who knew and loved Mr. Simmons, please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of sorrow.

“I also wish to commend the Bermuda Police Service for their ongoing efforts to provide support to the family and thoroughly investigate this sad and tragic incident.”
