Statement from Minister of National Security Michael Weeks on the murder of Khiry Furbert

“I am deeply saddened and troubled to learn of the murder of Khiry Furbert, another senseless act of violence in our community. I extend my heartfelt condolences to Khiry’s entire family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. 

“The circumstances of this incident are being thoroughly investigated, and we urge anyone with information to come forward. This madness has to stop, and we can only all be safe when we assist the Bermuda Police Service in its investigations into these heinous acts.”
