SUBMISSION DEADLINE EXTENDED: Commercial Activity Within Parklands 2022
The Department of Parks is extending the deadline for proposals from suitable concessionaires to provide beach/park concession services at twelve (12) public parklands for the summer season 2022 (May 1st 2022 to November 30th 2022). The deadline for submissions is April 25th at 5:00 pm.
The locations available are:
1. Mangrove Bay
2. Somerset Long Bay
3. Daniel’s Head
4. Church Bay
5. Horseshoe Bay Beach (excluding the facility)
6. Chaplin Bay
7. Admiralty House
8. Ducking Stool
9. Penhurst Park
10. Shelly Bay
11. Kindley Field Park
12. St. David’s Battery
Proposals may be submitted for one or more of the above-listed locations, with the understanding that only one location will be awarded per concessionaire.
A Government spokesman added: “This further week extension will allow concessionaires more time to provide proposals for their services. These activities provide enhanced enjoyment of our beaches and parks during the summer, and we look forward to receiving a variety of proposals in good time for the summer season.”

Submissions need to include what is being offered, how large their operation would be, which location they are interested in, dates and hours of operation, business name, and any other relevant information they would like to provide.
