TCD Notice - Testing Centres Equipment Upgrades

The Transport Control Department (TCD) is upgrading the equipment to examine vehicles in its three testing centres at Southside, Rockaway and North Street. The work commences next week and is scheduled for completion in October 2023.

TCD Southside facility will be closed from June 12 to 16, 2023. The Rockaway site will be closed between June 20 to 23, 2023. The closures are required to allow for the pouring of new concrete. 

During the site closures, customers with appointments at Southside or Rockaway will be accommodated at the North Street facility.

The TCD apologises to our customers for the inconvenience caused by these necessary closures.
