Vehicular Access to Coney Island Bridge Closed to the Public

Vehicular Access to Coney Island Bridge Closed to the Public

The Ministry of Public Works’ Highways Section, advises that in the interest of public safety, effective immediately, vehicular access to Coney Island Bridge is closed to the public to effect repairs.

Barriers and signs are in place to mark and inform the public that the bridge is closed to vehicular traffic. Pedestrians may still access the Bridge.

A team from the Ministry is working on a solution to restore full access to Coney Island.

Persons with official business on Coney Island may obtain a special permit to gain access. For details on how to apply for a permit, please contact Principal Structural Engineer, Attila Fustos, at 501-3073 or email structures@gov.bm.

The Ministry apologises for any inconvenience and urges the public to adhere to the posted signs. Further updates will be provided as they are available.
