Occasional Liquor Licences shall only be granted for social, charitable or benevolent purposes as per Section 22 of the Liquor Licence Act 1974. All applications are to be submitted a minimum of 3 weeks prior to the date of the event. Requirements to apply for a license

  1. Applications for Occasional Liquor Licenses must be made online via the Liquor License Portal at https://lla.gov.bm/
  2. Applicants should apply at least 3 weeks in advance of the requested event.
  3. Plans, certificates, etc., pertaining to this application should be attached to the online application in the designated fields of the online application form.
  4. Payment can be made online, via the Portal, or in person at the Court Cashier. If you pay in person, a copy of your receipt must be sent to the Liquor Licence Clerk.


Approved licenses can be printed directly from the online Portal. The collection of physical certificates is no longer necessary.
